Programs/Facilities

The greater South Bend area can proudly state it has tennis facilities virtually unmatched in a community this size. At the University of Notre Dame, the Eck Tennis Pavilion and Courtney Tennis Center not only provide excellent year-round tennis facilities for Irish teams and the ND community, they have also been the site of a number of prestigious events, including serving as the site of the NCAA Championships in 1994 for men’s tennis and in 1998 for women’s tennis. In January 2008, two premier facilities in the Michiana Area — South Bend Racquet Club and Lakeland Athletic Club (Niles) – became one and serve the needs of a growing base of tennis enthusiasts. And the City of South Bend operates a exceptional 14-court facility at the Leeper Park Tennis Center.

In January 2008, two premier tennis facilities in the Michiana Area — South Bend Racquet Club and Lakeland Athletic Club (Niles, MI) became one. Opportunities abound for junior and adult players of all ages and skill levels at both clubs. Our goal is to provide families with a safe, healthy place to workout and have fun!
